After the class we conducted a questionnaire survey on the students’ awareness of social studies, their relationships with others, and the important skills in social studies. The results showed the cooperative learning was effective in raising students’ awareness of social studies, and that students recognized the importance of “thinking ability”, “judgement ability” and “expressive ability” in social
