It has been found that M M A graft polymerize the easier onto rayon than onto cotton, and that the values of weigh5t increase of rayon very with the changes of kind of emullifier and time and temperature of polymerization. Use of non-ionic surfactant is more effective than that ionic ones. Physical properties of fibers (tensile, knot and loop strength, and moisture and water abso-rption) are decreased by MMA grafting.
