Left varicocele was induced in 6 groups of rats (A, B, C, D, E and F; 7 rats in each group). Four times a week, rats of group A, B, C, D, E and F underwent intrascrotal injections of saline, insulin-like growth factor-I, fibroblast growth factor, tumor necrosis factor-α, vascular endothelial growth factor or all the previous factors together, respectively. Additionally 7 rats were sham-operated (group G). At 8 weeks post-operation, groups E, F and G showed significantly higher left epididymal sperm content and motility, testosterone responses to human chorionic gonadotropin stimulation and intraabdominal versus intratesticular temperature differences than group A. Histological sections showed that the number of vessels per seminiferous tubule was significantly larger in groups E and F than in group A. Factors inducing vascularization have a beneficial effect on the function of the varicocelized testis attributable to improvement of testicular tissue nutrition or to amelioration of the functionality of the countercurrent heat exchange system.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10001_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Tottori University Faculty of Medicine"}]},"item_10001_relation_16":{"attribute_name":"情報源","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"Yonago Acta medica. 1999, 42(1), 41-49"}]}]},"item_10001_rights_15":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"Yonago Acta medica 編集委員会"}]},"item_10001_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA00892882","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10001_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"13468049","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_10001_text_32":{"attribute_name":"著者所属","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"Department of Urology, Faculty of Medicine, Tottori University"},{"subitem_text_value":"Department of Urology, Faculty of Medicine, Tottori University"}]},"item_10001_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Isoyama, Tadahiro"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"19218","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Sofikitis, Nikolaos"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"19219","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Isoyama, Tadahiro","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"19220","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Sofikitis, Nikolaos","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"19221","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2009-06-05"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"42_041-049.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"158.8 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensefree":"Yonago Acta medica 編集委員会","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"42_041-049.pdf","url":"https://repository.lib.tottori-u.ac.jp/record/5170/files/42_041-049.pdf"},"version_id":"faf86e56-a63a-4ed4-a16b-f8e174982d0b"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"growth factors","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"testis","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"spermatozoa","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"varicocele","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"growth factors","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"testis","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"spermatozoa","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"varicocele","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Factors Inducing Vascularization Improve the Spermatogenic and Steroidogenic Function of the Varicocelized Testis","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Factors Inducing Vascularization Improve the Spermatogenic and Steroidogenic Function of the Varicocelized Testis","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"10","path":["12","9","1092"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2018-06-22"},"publish_date":"2018-06-22","publish_status":"0","recid":"5170","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Factors Inducing Vascularization Improve the Spermatogenic and Steroidogenic Function of the Varicocelized Testis"],"weko_creator_id":"10","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-10-03T23:58:01.709757+00:00"}
