| 内容記述 | Aquatic insects within upper and spring sections of Amidagawa River of the Mt. Daisen were studied in August, 1964 and 1965. The results are summarized as folluws : 1. Larvae of 10 species of mayflies (Ephemeroptera), those of 16 species of caddisflies (Trichoptera), 5 species of stoneflies (Plecoptera) and larvae of 2 species belonging to crameflies (Tipulidae) or 2 species of net-winged midges (Blepharoceridae) were recorded. 2. The number of species per 0.25m² are dominant in caddisflies of case-bearing life form or in caddisflies of free living form on one hand, and on the other hand, only 2 species of net-spinners, for example, Hydropsyche ulmeri and Stenopsyche griseipennis were recorded. Thus, in Amida-gawa River, more larvae of free-living forms and creepers were found than larvae of another larval types. It may be concluded that the aquatic insect communities being far from the climax in the succession. 3. Similar vertical distribution of aquatic insect communities were recognized. between the high mountain stream of the Mt. Daisen and mountain streams of the Mt. Hyonosen, Hyogo Prefecture. In respect to the distribution of the net-spinning species, quite similar state was recognized as in the case of Kasu River or Torii River recorded by Tsuda and Komatsu in 1964. | |||||
