| 内容記述 | This study aims to investigate whether the Kokuho database （KDB） can be used to predict older people with frailty living in the community. This is a cross-sectional study using KDB data combined with the results of the Kihon Checklist （KCL） administered by Yonago city. A total of 8,665 older people aged ≥65 answered the KCL. After checking the eligibility, 1,098 were included in the analysis. Several variables which were significantly different between the frail group （KCL≥8 points） and the non-frail group were detected. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to fit the optimal model. Prediction scales were created based on the independent variables in the model. ROC curves were used to examine the validity of the scales. The optimal regression model including 7 items （physical activity, walking speed, eating speed, adequate sleep, BMI, high blood pressure, and high blood glucose） was identified. The area under the curve of the predictive scale （7-point scale with 7 items） was 0.720 （95% CI: 0.668 - 0.773）, with sensitivity: 68.0%, specificity: 67.6% for the optimal cut-off value of 3 points. The predictive validity of the scales was limited. Adding test items can contribute to improving the validity of the scales. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
