| 内容記述 | This study aims to identify the characteristics of effective facilitation that foster new self-awareness through reflection support. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with four nurses in their second or third year of service who participated in a reflection training program, and five facilitators at Tottori University Hospital. The young nurses often began reflecting when they faced challenges in their daily practice. They highlighted the importance of a supportive environment and interpersonal relationships. Reflection enabled them to calmly review events and approach future practice more positively. Facilitators reflected not only when approached by young nurses but also during role-specific moments, such as monitoring novice nurses’ well-being. They encouraged insight through intentional questioning to deepen reflection. Furthermore, when young nurses gained insights during or after the reflection process, the facilitators themselves also experienced a sense of accomplishment. Effective facilitation thus supports both personal and professional development in new nurses. Moreover, it is believed that such reflection practices extend beyond individual growth, positively influencing the entire staff and enhancing the overall quality of nursing within the organization. | |||||||||||||
